my dad took a pic at the jochen rindt motorshow in vienna- most possibly 1967 - that shows me and a 330 P. now - decades later - i found the pic again and i´m wondering what chassis number it was.
no. 23 was only used for 0846 as far as i know. but the front looks different, like the front is now on the rebodied 0846. (look at the small holes in the front).the only spider bodied 330 at this time with a similar front was the P4 0856.
so - what car is it exactly ?
anyway - i think it was the time where i got infected with the ferrari - virus !

Great pic:) And you got to touch the car . It would be behind glass or cordoned off if that was today.

I believe this is 0856, and probably in 1968 or 1969. For a long time it was thought to be the Daytona winner and the owner painted it up with #23 in honour of that win.

    PS - Great photo too.

That is 0856 note the two upper to the side nose inlet vents vrs. the single central nose inlet of 0846. 0846 wore # 23 when it finished 1 oa at Daytona in 1967. At that time 0856 was a coupe. 0856 finished the 67 season as a spyder at Brands Hatch.

Great Shot. It is the gleam in children's eyes that keeps all of this going.

0486 before accident in May 67.

Napolis would be happy to see that.

searching again - maybe its 0860 ? 0860 had no 23 in 1967, but was rebodied as can am spider. when was the rebody to P4 done ?
another question: found a pic named as 0860 BOAC 1967, but the car has no.8 instead of 6.
so what car/race is it ?

That's definitely Brands Hatch, the 1967 BOAC 500 (see the little BOAC speedbird logo behind the cockpit?) and it's 0858 which was driven by Jonathan Williams and Paul Hawkins - who is standing behind it.

It was rebodied, first from a berlinetta to a spyder after Le Mans '67, and second to a Can-Am spyder with engine enlarged to 4.2L after Brands Hatch. It is still in that form now.......but the tail clip in the picture is currently being fitted onto Jim's 0846, after spending years on 0854.

I don't think 0860 ever had #23 (0846 carried at #23 Daytona '67 and 0854 at Le Mans '67, and then when David Clarke owned 0856 he had #23 on it in the 1970s). I don't know exactly when Pierre Bardinon had his 0860 rebodied as a spyder from a Can-Am.
