Drove from the San Gabriel Valley to **********, About 40 miles, Got off the freeway and the car stalled at the light! Took a few tries to get it started. Got to the next light a block away, stalled again!
This is the first time it has acted up.
Any ideas? Is it a loose connector or something?

No problems after that, started, got home fine in the 101 traffic.

    Any advise?

No Engine lights, no rattle. A little rattle when it was trying to start up again.

Hey buddy, the best advice is to keep an eye on it for now. It could have been anything? Its really hard to diagnose problems like that, unless it is consistantly there. Just drive the car, probably closer to home the better for the time being and see how it goes. Unless you wanna take it to the dealer and let them have a play with it? Its your call man. Cheers :)

Well if there was a little rattle then have a look at the flyhweel and clutch. There is a perforated inspection plate on the bottom of the transmission. Remove the four nuts holding it in place and shine a light inside. You are looking for signs of grease. If you see any grease then it's the flywheel.

My 348 has done that before, only a few times and mostly after a hard lap around the neighborhood and coming to a stop, but started right up and ran great, think it may be the fuel pickup or something, not sure so, good luck in finding it out,

You could be onto something there. When my car has the fuel gauge in between 1/4 and empty, when you take the slightest corner at normal speed, the car splutters for a sec,as the fuel gets sloshed around. It is fine once the fuel stops sloshing around in the tank of course. When it does do that, then it definitly is time to fuel up  How much fuel was in your tank vtc4198 when it happened? :)

I talked to a mechanic at VCR and he said it might me just a loose connector, but told me it was nothing serious and to bring the car in for the major and he will check on this prob. He took it for a wicked drive, and of course, NO STAULING!

Nothing serious now. But if the problem persists,he will be pulling his hair out trying to find out which connector is "loose" while you are paying for his time. lol. Yeah, wouldnt stress too much buddy. :)

I had a similar problem, mostly when the car was cold. The idle mixture was adjusted at the mechanic. He loosened up a retaining nut, adjusted the mixture about an 1/8 turn at a time, then tightened up the retaining nut. You have to do both sides of the intake the same amount or it will not run properly. Three adjustments over about ten minutes, and no problems since. Make sure you have a good mechanic, these problems can take alot of the fun out of driving the Ferrari.

You know what, it didn't even cross my mind, try having the ecu's relearn the warm up process. Disconnect the battery for about :30 seconds then reconnect it. Put the transmission in neutral and then start the car. Do not touch anything, not throttle, not the clutch, nothing. Let it sit for about 15 minutes or until the cooling fans kick on at least once.
