After months of looking for the right car I'm taking delivery Saturday afternoon. This is my first Fcar and my heart skips a beat thinking about seeing it roll off of the transport.

Gotta tell you I had the hardest time trying to spend $250,000!!! I had gotten so frustrated that I could never find the car with what I wanted. I just wanted a basic red/beige F1 and they were no where to be found. I don't particularly care for the stitching and piping in the seats and dash.Gotta give props to Brain Albertson, he brokered the deal for me. I can't wait til tomorrow!!!!

I need a new screen name now LOL.

Man what a first Ferrari to have. Congrats man. Make sure you post some pics for us. And definately give us a write up. It's always fun to hear about someone popping their cherry with their first Ferrari. I'm sure you won't be dissapointed.

Very much a pleasure working with you JT. Another good client made me aware of your post, so I wanted to let you know I appreciated your business! After years of working in a lamborghini franchise, it is nice to be able to use all the dealerships in the country, as well as where your car came from: a private owner who is a good client of mine. Thanks again!
    Happy Motoring! Brian Albertson

You're gonna love it. The F430 just does everything so well. What cars have you owned in the past? My first Ferrari was a 360 Modena, and I came out of many years of Porsche and BMW M cars. The first thing to strike me was the intensity of the driving experience compared to the others. The ultra-quick steering, the aggressive exhaust note, the short gears...just hang on and enjoy the experience!

Break out the video camera when the truck shows up at your house. I did. You will be so excited when its going on that it is difficult to take it all in. The video lets you relive the experience!!

LOL..."basic" and "F430" should never be used in the same sentence. I know what you mean in getting it without the frilly seats and all, but it made me smile nonetheless...

Congrats! I know the feeling you have right now. Wait until your first few minuites of driving of. It'll be a once in a lifetime feeling that you probably won't experience with future exotic cars if you end up getting others someday. Nothing like the first drive in your first Ferrari. Post some pics when you get a chance.

She came into my lift at exactly 11:17am this morning. My heartis still beating at a rapid pace. I was shaking when I first sat in it to move it. Talk about an experience!!!! The only feeling that tops this is the birth of my daughter. How in the world can a car be so absolutely perfect. The steering is so dialed in it's intuitive, the Daytona seats are incredible they just cup me, hearing the growl of the engine and looking and seeing it in the rear view are priceless. I have pinched myself no less than 10 times since this AM. I thought I had it bad waiting for Santa as a kid, I may sleep in the garage tonight.

Here are some pics. Excuse the crappy lighting. I loaned my video camera out a few weeks ago and didn't have it to record delivery :( Bummer.

I keep replaying delivery in my head. I don't ever want today to end!!!! HEAVEN CAN'T BE ANY BETTER!!!!!!!

285, I've got my eye open for the upcoming events.

    Jeff, after

Thanks to everyone for all the votes of approval. Guess I made a pretty good choice. LOL. Man I still can't believe this. I think I'm getting ready to take a sleeping bag to the garage. The conceirge and security guards in my condo have been smiling and grinning all day when they see me. Incredible how many heads the car turns standing still!! This is gonna be one heck of a summer.

It is truly very exciting to receive what you sought so dearly.

When intercity pulled up here last Sunday, the sound of that diesel truck was causing great excitement.

The driver opened the side door to get his equipment, and my baby was there at the tail covered in plastic and then covered again with a car cover.

    What excitement to see this.

Then when the driver turned the key and I heard the two beeps and then it started. I really needed a second pair of shorts!

Extreme excitement and as you drive it and become more familiar with the car it gets more exciting!

    Ferrari's are incredible cars.

Yours is very beautiful and enjoy it well. Get comfortable slowly with it.

    You'll never regret the purchase.
