    I'm headed to Beverly Hills/Melrose area to meet some friends on Saturday
    and i was wondering if anyone knew of any great places to eat or shop.
    Just thought I would try something new.

    Shop in Beverly Hills? I've heard it's kind of a dive. They don't have $800 t-shirts, and you can't even buy half a suit at a time!

    Ha, you had the thread removed where you bragged about your Armani jacket and some other brand pant "suit."

    The Ivy. Its slightly spendy, but the food is great and your guaranteed to be dining with a few celebs. Always kinda fun. As for shopping, Rodeo drive or Robinson blvd.
