Today was a great day for a drive. I was fortunate enough to get rides in the silver 360 (thanks Robert!) & richard_wallaces Gallardo(thanks!) , along with the M5 on the way back. The sounds of the cars were amazing, along with the Caprista(sp?) exhaust on Gordans F355, you could hear the exhaust about 2 blocks away before seeing the car.Pictures were taken in 1280 X 960, I will be posting a link to the high res pics sometime today or tommorrow.

beautiful pictures! Wow, that was a blast! We need to do this again very soon! What a great group of guys we had! Thanks Rich for organizing this drive out, and thanks Doc for the great lunch at the Italian bistro.
That "scenic rural" road was amazing! Can we do this again tomorrow?

    Scott,
awesome pictures! You really know how to photograph cars! We need you to come out on every drive to snap all the action.

btw, thanks for posting a picture of my only wheel with curbrash! :)

Nice! Sorry I missed it! The yellow 360 Spider is John's correct? I read in the other thread that the yellow Gallardo is from Indy - is he going to be coming to other drives or was he just in town this week?

You guys make me proud to live in Dayton :D Gordon all you need now is a sweet license plate like everybody else :)

PS Thanks for the pics Scott! I loved them all, esp the ones of Rich on the highway. Any pictures of the people? I still don't know what anybody looks like :D edit .... also I couldn't find the hi-res of the very first picture you posted here. can you put that one up too?

Thanks! I didn't even notice the roadrash until you brought it up, I was mainly going for the reflection of the Gallardo in the lug nuts.

we drove from Rich's house in Cinci up 71 north, crossed over on 73 towards Caesar creek lake and ended up in Waynesville (I think) at this great little italian bistro where we ate. Then we drove about 5-6 miles on fantastic winding roads to Robert's house and parked there and took more pics and chatted. It was quite a sight!

We left Rich's house around 11:30 and I left Roberts house at 2 pm. Great time!

Looks like you guys had a great time. As I told Rich last week, I was in the nice position of having two good choices this weekend, and I chose to backpack with the Boy Scouts in Hoosier National Forest. I traveled a bit slower - maybe 3 mph, at best. Looking forward to seeing all of you again soon for another drive.

    Lets do this more often!

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the invite and being able to ride along with you guys. I can say that was one of the best experiences in my life. I coulnd't ask for a more better going away present then being able to finally get to see those cars in person. I can't express enough how appreciative I am to be able to ride in the lambos, and to Rich especially for being able to drive his on the way back to his place. But have fun with all the future drives and don't forget to post tons of pics. Look forward to seeing you guys again when I get back home from the desert.

Thanks again, it was like living a dream for a day.

    Chris,

Great meeting you and be safe over there in the Desert! We cannot express our appreciativeness for you serving our country! Worth much more than all of our exotics combined - for sure!

Take care and stay in touch when you can!

That would be great! I need to experience the Ferrari/Lambo feeling inside of the car, even if I'm just a passenger!

It was nice to meet you and good luck with everything. We'll see you back with hopefully more cars!

Also, giving respect to Rich for your kind gesture for letting somebody drive your car!

Glad everyone had a good time and enjoyed the resturant. I would certainly like to show everyone more of the back roads in my area. I'll work out a map and if everyone has a navigator on board it should be a blast, say about a 45 minute rocket ride with plenty of turns and switchbacks so you can really hear your engines sing. So for those of you who heard me talking about my 996 turbo s being remapped, I replaced the ecu saturday after the drive and sunday went up to the Columbus auto show. Absolutely devastating the power difference, from 444hp to 520hp. Scott thanks for the great pics, I especially like the one thru the engine bay during the ride.
