Well, saw no actual Dinos, did see a couple of fire breathing dragons though. Enjoy! Oh ya, why not to buy a Lambo...they can eat you. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I know it looks like a F40 Steve commercial. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I like the scissors action of the doors --- looks like the legs are about to be guiliotine'd off... ..and... the real question is, of course, the power output figures for the F40 and others ???
Just saw this. Guessing it's the same owner. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=135653447&postcount=3
A few pics and the link is a video of the F40 with FIRE!!! http://home.comcast.net/~haletg3/PICT0032.MOV Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here's a couple of "flame thrower" stills that I pulled off of my digital video footage. The video and digital sound of the F40 on the dyno came out great! Once I get it edited and talk to Steve to make sure it's okay to post, I'll upload it to Google Video. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
If I had more memory for my camera I would have taken more pictures. I filled up my memory card rather quickly with video footage of the cars. If i get a chance tonight i'll try and stitch the video files together, but i'm packing for a roadtrip to L.A.
All I get after the download is a big ? in the middle of the Q on the screen. Never mind, another Windows miracle, it works now.
Hmmm, I saw a bunch of you guys pulling out of the Olive Garden parking lot this afternoon and wondered what was going on. I forgot I joined this forum. Had I known you guys were going to Carbconn I woulda stopped by to say hi. =)
Gotcha. I was actually viewing it in the QT player but it sounds like you were getting it to open in your browser (maybe the issue) I'm guessing. Looks like it all worked out anyway.
Just wanted to thank the Ferrari Club for letting me on the dyno with you today. I needed to get a baseline dyno on my '06 Viper SRT/10 Coupe before doing modifications on Monday. I will be adding the Mopar race exhaust (no cats), the Race Engine Controller and a K&N intake system. The Viper Club has a dyno day next Saturday and I will re-test it then, along with my '96 GTS. It was a great "car show" today and I talked to some nice people. Thanks
Came out at 426 hp and 300 lb. ft. Given the stated 483 hp engine output, that puts my drivetrain loss at only 12%, which I find astounding. I suspect the engine output is closer to 500 hp (or over) than Ferrari says. 20% loss would equate to 532 hp, 15% 501 hp. Dan
Thanks for dynoing yours. In essence you paid for both of us. Typical rule of thumb is between 13 and 17 percent loss at the rear wheels. So yes, that is great. That equates to 493 to 516 HP at the fly wheel. Either way, above the stated 483HP.
Here are a few of mine. A cold and wet start to the day. It dried out but stayed cold. We had a bigger turn out than last year inspite of the weather. The variety of Ferraris and non-Ferraris made it very interesting. John E's 911 TT put on a nice show at 335 RWHP. The Corvette C5R was a real treat and REAL LOUD!! The 240Z tested out 20 HP over stock. It's for sale if anyone wants cheap, fun toy. I must say that it was an awesome turnout if you ask me. Thanks for letting me hang out and snap some pics. All of my pics are here. http://photobucket.com/albums/y156/itrhybrid/Ferrari%20Dyno%20day/ I have high res of all of these, so let me know if you'd like them. A couple of my favorite:
