Yah, saw it! Nice car! Police said she did not have a license as well as the car had euro plates and no documentation. Quite a site to see that car being dragged away on dollys. Regards, Rick

They got her for the bright euro plate on the pretty black car.

car was probably brought in on a T.I.B and never exported. not really such a smart idea to be rolling around in cail with a car like that.

 

I guess now the cats out of the bag. I've known all 3 cars (black enzo, red enzo, and SLR) were stolen some time ago. They were onto him prior to the crash. That just turned up the heat on him so that's not a surprise. About two months ago, police in LA stop a flatbed speeding in the very early A.M. they think looks suspicious. The flatbed has a cover flapping wildly in the wind over a car strapped down. After citing the driver, they uncover a Black Enzo on the flatbed. Police only know it's a Ferrari, not an Enzo. They run the VIN and nothing comes up. The next day the Police contact Ferrari OC and what do you know the car is stolen from Europe. Turns out it came over under the premise of show and display on a flight with a Red Enzo, and SLR.....I'll give you one guess who received all three cars?.....Bad karma....Since no law here was actually broken the police couldn't press him until Europe was notified and began moving forward. More to come on this for sure....

 

Wow!! That's pretty crazy!! Did the two Enzo's happen to be the ones that were at SEMA??? Cause when I asked the who owned the vehicles I was declined a comment. Which is kind of wierd if you ask me. I never realy thought much of it after that.

How can someone think they can steal 3 exotics, keep the euro plates on, and not get caught in a place where we dont only police the crap out of our own country but other countries aswell?

 

"Steal" could simply mean that he got behind on his payments and 'hid' them from the repo man by moving them out of the country. I can see someone thinking they can get away with that.

In todays LA Times they say the owner of the SLR is a bank in Scotland, sounds like it got behind in payments and the bank wants the car back.

 

I'm sure you are right. I doubt somebody would steal 3 exotics and then drive them around in public, especially one as recognizable and unique as the black/black/black Enzo

Pretty sure that's only if they're being charged with a crime. I think he probably gave them a fake name anyway.

so funny cause I've seen both the crashed enzo, the black one, and this SLR driving in BH with euro plates and nobody seemed to even notice or care
the BHPD is gonna be all over that **** now
