Il y a une question que je me pose depuis longtemps, lors des reconstructions, ou réparations, comment faites vous les soudures sur le chassis, les radiateurs, cuivre, aluminium, acier, fonte etc.
Es-ce que vous faites avec les moyens mis à disposition aujourd'hui, (tig, mig, arc autogène.)
Ou le faites vous comme cela se faisait à l'époque.

Je me souviens que dans les années 60, je soudais l'aluminium au chalumeau.

N'y voyez aucune critique, si cela ne se fait pas comme dans le temps.

I was there two weeks ago and saw your car Jim. I was confused because I didn't know you had it done in Modena so imagine my surprise when I saw the s/n!

I alway love to visit shops like these. I remember the time they had the Ferrari boat engine on a test stand when they fired it up, without any silencers to speak of! That was great

Is the wiring harness/tubing period correct or is that one area where modern techology wiring is better to use?

Looks amazing Jim! It's funny, everytime you start a build thread, I'm amazed. Keep it up, can't wait to see whats next.

 

That will be a blast to drive when finished. The smell of oil/gas, the wind, the "mechanicals" working and operating, being at speed...

I talked to Sal in the pits early in the morning during the race and he told me that she still needs some time. If I remember correct he said something about September (but we had some beers before and afterwards so I'm to too sure anymore )

Hi, I was unable to collect any news from the Nurburgring race of P4/5, do you may shortly give me some about the race?
I prefear to don't noise Mr.Napolis until I know the results!
