Not sure what is going on with my car, but hope someone can help. This 360 just had a new center transmisson mount installed as well as both lower motor mounts. When you back up and turn, you can feel something moving around. It feels like a bad motor mount or trans mount. Seeing how all that is new now, we have been trying to trace down the problem.
When you back up you can feel and hear something hitting. When you take off and turn left or right you can feel and hear a chattering or rumbling. Once you straighten the car out everything is perfect. It almost feels like the entire rear end is shifting. But under careful inspection, we can't find anything moving. Both CV Axles has alot of movement from left to right, but I am told that they are supposed to do that. If you push in the clutch pedal the problem goes away. Also we checked the rear differential fluid and it is clean and on the mark. Thanks in advance for any help!

Your describing the limited slip locking up. Change the fluid in the Transmission that has the lsd additive in it. Do a search on transmission fluid. I think redline with lsd additive is the best.

I tried the Redline with the friction modifier added and, although it will help with the chatter, your shifting will suffer. Trust me on this. My mechanic found an oil that not only eliminated the chatter, but my car has never shifted better! It is the Redline Shock Proof Lightweight Gear Oil. It is for racing applications and already has the friction modifier built in. The shifting was so sluggish with the straight Redline with the friction modifier added afterwards, that I was cracking the plastic shifter bushings, which only made the problem worse. I went back to the straight Redline and just put up with the chatter for awhile, until we discovered the shock proof. Now the car shifts like butter, and I can shift super fast (faster than with the straight Redline).

I serviced the rear diff with Redline oil and fricition modifier. Within about 20 miles or so the problem is gone! Thanks for all the tips!

According to Rifledriver it does. I couldn't imagine it not having it in there as my chattering problem disappeared instantly when we put it in there.

I've already put thousands of miles on my car with the shock proof gear oil, and it has never ran or shifted better!
