How reliable are they? I am planning on buying a used one just for a little enjoyment and excitement on the weekdays. Are they no good after a certain amount of miles (10k)? My daily driver right now is a Range Rover HSE so I thought this would be a good oppurtunity to mix things up a little. I have never bought a used car before so is the Cambiocorsa a car you don't buy used? Somebody fulfill me because my knowledge with these cars (Cambiocorsas) isn't too well....Thanks!

Do some searches on www.************.com as well as this forum for experiences. Seems that the CC F1 pump seems to go somewhere around 30K miles, at least mine did. Covered under the 4 year warranty, but quotes have varied from $3k-$6k to replace out of warranty.
Clutch life seems to vary outrageously, for no apparent reason. I replaced mine at 30K miles when the F1 pump failed, just because they had to pull the tranny anyway. They said I had 30-40% life left. I drive my car pretty aggressively, but always in Sport mode, and upshift/downshift constantly. You will find tales of <10K mile clutch life, and 30K-40K mile clutch life. Lots of theories but no clear reason for the wide variation. A clutch is probably a ~$3.5k job to replace.
My bottomline, the CC tranny is a blast, esp. if you are doing spirited or track driving. My next car will be one of three - another CC Maser Spyder, a F1 Ferrari, or an eGear Lambo. All are equivalent trannies.

Thanks for the referrance! This info, however, leads me to questioning; I am actually planning on buying one from DC Motors and do you think the reason they have many available is because of these reasons? Are there many known techincal difficulties/problems known for this model, yet specfically, year range? I will search around the forum you provided me with, thanks a lot!

Call me at the # in my sig tomm. and I'd be more than happy to discuss anything related to the car. I've owned an 02CC and a good part of my day is spent talking to and dealing with 4200 owners so I seem to learn something everyday.
