Had a 5-year old battery go bad in my 2002 575 Ferrari.

Replaced it in the usual way, and installed a new Interstate
of the same style as what was in it before.

Left the car on the "battery maintainer" until the light went green.

Now the car cranks vigorously, but does not fire.

    Looking for suggestions ..............

Sounds like the immobilizer is armed. 575Ms crank but will not start with the immobilizer active. 550s will not crank. Try a different remote.

    Thank You, Terry !

I had a spare key within 30 yards of the car.

With the spare at the car, I clicked for entry.
    The windows cracking said,
yes the car recognized the other key.

Car started right up, so that part's good.

I idled the car for 10-12 minutes to let
the car ponder the new Interstate battery.

Shut car down, and it immediately
restarted with the original key !

    am I done ?

    Merry New Give - O - Ween !

Not sure what the key has to do with it, but if you meant fob, affirmative, you are set. She just wanted some attention.
