I have seen the low pressure supply hose from the reservoir to the pump go bad. Makes a mess.

Many of the hoses have seeping or what can be referred to as "acceptable amount of seeping"...If the hose is really the problem then replace, but are they positive.

I have had the same problem with mine where it leaks/seeps a bit. First they wanted to replace the power steering pump, then the crush washers to the pump, then it was possibly just a hose that was not tighted down.

Have a look to see if it is leaking...If it is, where from, have them show it two you. This is a very simple fix.

I’ve replaced the larger diameter hose from the reservoir to the pump twice in 6 years. I’m probably another year away from having to do it again. It starts to seep after a few years. I have to stop buying the Ferrari hose and find a better quality (and cheaper) replacement. Next time I’ll visit a hose shop for a replacement.
