I question that as well. I'm not sure what a '05 is worth these days but I imagine it wouldn't take too much F-priced repairs to hit the salvage/total tipping point, 50% of value? I noticed in the pic below that the driver's door fit is out of alignment. Maybe the door just isn't fully closed or maybe there is more underlying damage than we see at first glance. This is very tempting but once it's fixed I bet you'd have a hard time selling it for much more than $50-$75k since it will have a salvage title.

If you wanted to buy it and keep it, it would be a great deal-- especially if you could fix it yourself. To resell it and make money would be more difficult. It obviously wasn't much of a hit, since it didn't even touch the front wheel.
Back on Copart. I've only heard of one person that bought something and he got burned. I'm telling ya this doesn't pass the sniff test.
Granted the damage isn't bad appearance wise but it would probably still cost $30k+ to fix at any reputable body shop especially if the front quarter has been pushed into the door or the A pillar is tweaked. If it sells for $50k it becomes a $80k car with 36k miles (which consequently is indicated as being "not actual."). Not sure how much a 36k (or unknown) mileage 612 would be worth in perfect condition. $100k? So you're not far off if you're in it $80k with repairs with a salvage title. Not really worth it unless you can fix it yourself (like someone else mentioned) and plan to keep it.
