    Well..my first real job as a certified Ducati tech came into the shop today. 2005 S4R for an engine case split and reseal. Bike and engine are striped to nothing but the front forks, handel bars and wheel. Engine is on bench and in peices. The job is being done under warrenty so I'm taking my time with it.

    Just a small word of advice when buying these Ducatis..when looking at the bike in the showroom..bend down and have a look at the engine case underneith where the exahust pipes travels near the oil filter. If any traces of oil are seen...make sure to mention it to the dealer..this is the second one I have seen do this, but this is the first repair. This seems to only effect early 05 S4R Monsters.

    I will post some pics tomorrow as I did not have my camera with me today.

    Cool job. I almost got an S2R as my first bike.

    That's cool, I would like to see pictures. I had a 1999 Ducati 750 SS, unfortunately had to sell it when I moved overseas. Very reliable so I never got to see the insides.
