    Makes me want to take a home equity loan out-- Will you take a partial trade of a hot rod 308?? ;-)

    Yes, it is still for sale. I had an a trade worked out and when we pulled a carfax it came back with an accident report.
    That threw me as I had pulled two previous carfax's and they had both been clear. Turns out there was an accident in early April of 2013 and it did not show up until late August of 2014. I called carfax and they played the tune "oh, its not our fault, sometimes insurance companies dont report until much later.....

    What good is carfax if an accident comes up 17 months after it happens!!!!

    So, I did a lot of research and tracked down both a police report and several conversations with the body shop. Apparently, no fault, low speed accident that damaged the front bumper ONLY and owner chose to replace bumper with Scuderia bumper. No other components involved and paint work was just the bumper, no other panels, frame etc.
    I have the detailed police report available for anyone who has interest.

    As a result of the car fax the value of the car has been reduced, so the trade fell through. I lost interest in selling for wholesale kind of offers, which were numerous. I really like the car, the only problem being how much attention it attracts. Having owned a lot of Ferrari's I was still unprepared for how much commotion this particular car brings. Its all quite positive and the car is a blast so I am getting used to it. I will still sell it, just not willing to give it away.

    On the wrap, is that considered/called a flat or semi gloss, etc. ?
    Dark charcoals or black ? What brand ?

    Looks very nice, unique. Not critique, but a big brake Brembo up front
    would finish that off nicely.

    John, unfortunately I'm not in the market at the moment as I purchased a 599 earlier in the year, but I would like to have a mid engined car to go along with my little collection sometime in the not so distant future.

    I have to say, your car is by far the best looking 430 I've seen. I think it is very tastefully done and I love the contrast between the Rossa exterior and Nero CF accents. Just stunning! GLWS

    Well, what a journey! 17 month late car fax, further revelations about damage and yet still a gorgeous and well cared for beauty that is unique in its look.
    Sold last week.
