No problem That's great to hear that metal quality was excellent and that your car's chassis was straight and true - It shows how well it was built by those craftsmen (considering the hand-made techniques, one could naturally expect some slight differences/deviations) and that your car wasn't involved in any accidents. Amazing...
it appears that my uncle, bobby brinzey was an owner of this car while in venezuela. i am not positive of the year he bought it (circa 1964-66) but i know he paid 2000 bolivars. i have a great picture of him standing beside the car in period. i will try to find it and post. pcb
Jim, I am sure you will make a great job of restoring this car. I see you dont have a 'PM' ability. Could you send me your email. Like to ask you a question. Warren.
I was fortunate to see this wonderful car in Wayne's shop the day after painting was completed! It looked amazing! I forgt to ask if the spectacular Grey color was the original color or a special treat for Jim. I can't wait to see this beauty back on the road. Great find Jim! Amazing. What a transformation. Thanks so much for shooting and sharing, Peter. Now I'm curious as to what it looked like sitting in the jungle it came from!
