Did something happen to the front bumper? Color and fitment look to be slightly off.

The fitment looks fine but the shade of paint is off ever so slightly. You can see this in the last photo. Quite typical when you repaint bumpers as it is very hard to match paint shades without blending (which many will not do to a Ferrari).

The photos look great nonetheless. What did you guys do to the car?

Love the wheels. What are those? And the ride height is just sexy.

That's what I fear the most since my Scuderia kit will be arriving in 2 weeks...hate it when the spray Jon leaves two tones of rosso scud...sig...looks like I gotta get myself prepared for the worst.

on almost any car, in any color, the shade on the bumpers is off just slightly. the whole front end has been clear bra'd which may or may not be throwing it off. the wheels are HRE Carbon Series CF42's. as for the work, we did the wheels, clear bra, Passport 9500ci, blacked out tail lights, custom stereo, sparco evo 3's that we upholstered in factory leather and alcantara with sparco 4 point harness's, full fabspeed/novitec exhaust and ecu upgrade, and the final polishing and detail. thanks for the feed back

The lower ride height on these cars makes a huge difference in how they look. When they're not lowered they look like a bus.

    Great pics.

FUGG....the seats look like absolute porn! Love it! Too bad you didn't include an embrodered pony logo on the headrest portion, that would have made it 110% perfect. Guess you've just got to live with 100% then.

Thanks for sharing. Giving me really naughty thoughts now.....

About the bumper shade being off. Problem is no nada zero two batches of paint even mixed with the same exact formula is the same even at the factory. It is more prevalent in lighter colors and metallics, the darker the color the easier it is to match like straight black. Straight black is well just black and no blending should be needed.

Now metallics and pearls with the same paint could be a shade off from panel to panel depending on the direction in which the painter laid it down.

Now we come to substrates. Most normal cars are metal hoods, fenders, doors, quarters/body, roofs, and trunk lids while the rocker moldings, and bumper covers are plastic. Even when you prime and use the same exact batch of paint and lay it down the same direction the plastic bits will turn out a different shade because it absorbs the paint differently, you can see this on pretty much every car if you have an eye for it, look at cars on a dealers lot at different angles and you will see it and it's not just limited to the low end cars either. Best example I give people is if you've ever painted dry wall and wood trim in the same room with the same exact paint it comes out two different shades.

Now a lot of the factories will paint different parts at different locations. Honda/Acura is very bad at this as they paint the bumper covers and the rest of the car at two different facilities, look closely the next time you see a gold/silver/white Honda/Acura I see some sitting on dealer lots that are horrible.

I wouldn't blend a hood and fenders, or quarters and trunk if the shade of paint is off very very slightly which most shops should be able to get 98% close like the above cars front bumper. I wouldn't do this because pretty much no one in the field can match factory paint. Remember these cars are painted then baked at high temps in the factory much higher temps than a paint booth at a body shop all before the plastic and rubber bits are put on the car.
