    Hi all,
I am new to this forum. Looking to purchase a an F430 Spider. But not sure what is the major difference in the year. This will be my first Ferrari, drove the spider love it. Drove the coupe, it was ok. Guess i have coupe all of my life ( Lambo). Please guide me if there is any major changes in 06 to 08. Any change in gear swift time? like perhaps 08 is faster gear change etc... Thanks all

The '08s came standard with CCBs. I believe the manifold problem was resolved by the factory by then. Naturally, more warranty never hurts!

Do a search. Someone asked this question recently but I don't recall the changes. There were not many differences bt the model years.

yeah I did a search but didnt really find the difference to my question. Do it feel driving an 06 or an 08? I drove an 08 spider like i pretty much but drove an 05 coupe months ago. Not sure why but i felt 08 spider is stiffer? is that just me?

I have an 08 and I really like the CCB's. Also, I know some improvements have been done on the F1 (mainly software I understand) and also the engine management system software has been updated.

But, my feeling is that there is little difference in the 06 to 08 aside from the brakes.
