What is the highest msrp to date that you have heard about? I was told today about a $216k msrp car that is not an SE Will people pay this for these car or are they pricing themselves out of the market?
I have one in stock right now that MSRPs at $221,065. Here's the specs: Gallardo: $175,000 Callisto Wheels: $3,250 Car Cover: $414 E-Gear: $10,000 Clear Engine Cover: $4,030 Branding Package: $910 Coming Home Func: $345 Yellow Calipers: $805 Carbon Package: $8,510 Heated Mirrors: $173 Anti-Theft: $638 Nav: $2,600 Backup Camera: $2,600 Board Comp: $460 Electric Seats: $2,990 Heated Seats: $350 Special Paint Color: $2,990 (Giallo Midas) Guzzler Tax: $3,700 Destination $1,300 I suppose one could push one as high as $230,000 if you tried. Throw in a leather headliner, track package, bicolor interior.. paint it a Murcie Color.. etc.. it's not too tough. Most of the cars we get are $210k or so MSRP. Figure the most basic E-Gear car imagineable is $190k msrp. Now throw on a clear engine cover, power heated seats, callisto wheels.. that's $200k right there. And then I usually order them with nav and camera as well.
It is a bit much, that the owner of the car, has to pay $ 910 for the "privilige" of having the manufacturer slap their logo on the product.
I was told $225K for this (FC Kerbeck)...but never waited in line to get a close up look at the sticker. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Actually coupe pricing is getting stronger if anything. Coupes are going to be in very short supply this year, yep, I have a few in stock but that's because I got them for 06 while I could... we have only a couple coming in for the rest of the year and 1 of those 3 are sold. And since we're effectively sold out on Spyders... Gallardos are not going to be plentiful this year. Spyder pricing is, technically, $20,000 more than a coupe but since the clear engine cover is not available on a Spyder and is a $4,030 option that virtually all coupes have, they are, in reality, about $16,000 more than a coupe.
