after driving the new e90 330i with its excellent chassis and fun to drive demeanor,i was thinking the new m3 will be an excellent everyday sport sedan-coupe.....it will handle great, low 4 second 0-60, quick and fast steering, very comfortable interior and a good amount of room....if it comes in around 55k, it will as fast as a c6 vette, with better built quality, better steering and shifting, much more room inside and a more practical everyday car..it should be a hit....anyone thinking about getting one??? any deposits???

I'm sure any dealership would be willing to take a deposit....

most likely though the M3 won't come out until 2007 or so...

E92 comes out next yr (the coupe)

I would be FLOORED if the new M3 were only $55k -- I'd expect more like $65k.

you are right, just wishing....i did not know the car is not coming out until 07,...all this prerelease hype makes you think these cars are coming out soon.....

    Hi,
Currently, BMW is selling the e46 m3 as an 06. Historically they have skipped 2 years after production of the old one stops. An 08 model in early 07 sounds more like it.

I haven't heard anything about it as yet. No disrespect meant, but what pre release hype ? any specs ?

    Thanks
