    Can't talk about the specifics at the moment, but my new First Edition Viper Coupe will be delivered to me with 567 HP, about 500 at the wheels. With a full warranty. Thank you Dodge...for caring about the Gearheads. Bring on the Z06. I ain't skeered!! And some will say it's modded, so it should be quicker than the "stock" z06. But it is a factory car, ...no aftermarket mods.....YET. Should have it Monday of Thanksgiving week. Pics to come. Not my car pictured below.

    No, Dodge did not up the HP from the advertised 510. My car will have 567. The Comp Coupe has some really cool stuff. All it takes is someone to put it into a production car. Someone with the wherewithall could in fact duplicate this, from factory parts, if they knew how to pull it all together, and make it emissions correct.

    They are producing 200 First Edition Blue/White coupes, to commemorate the original '96 Blue/white coupes. They are already producing Red, Black, Yellow coupes as well, with or without stripes. The F.E. Coupes have the 5 spoke wheels as standard, as well as interior trim, and numbered 1-200. All are factory rated at 510hp.

    I would be curious to see ring times. I think it'll have trouble keeping up with the zo6. The bad news for Viper fans is the new Blue Devil Corvette that's on it's way.

    I still like my GTS better, it is gonna take a while to get to like it. Kinda like the diablo to the murci. I still like the diablo better.

    I think it's been said before on here....Chevy has been trying to dethroan the viper for 10 years now with no avail! They may have done it this year with the Z06....I'd still rather drive a viper for sure! Dodge WILL ANSWER the call! I've driven the first year Z06 and a 93 viper! I'm pretty sure that the first years of the Z06 were faster than the Viper beginning cars! Still....the viper "feels" faster. The torgue on the viper is astonishing! Again....Dodge will answer! Let the V-Wars continue!

    By the way...6.0 se.....awesome choice of car and color! When the first GTS came out I loved it, and still do! The newest generration of Viper is even meaner looking, IMO. I'm a sucker for new things though! Enjoy the beast!

    LOLOLOL C6's and Z06's are gonna be on dealer lots. There's going to be alot of pissed off vette owners. They build a good vette, then build a better one wtf.

    A.J. you getting the mopar performance parts on your coupe or are you getting some even greater goodies?

    The BLue Devil will be a short/exclusive run for sure. The car is carbon fiber on the Au Zo6 chassis. Some of the M cars they test around here (Milford, Michigan area) are Supercharged. Some of them are Turbocharged. One of the Turbo cars caught on fire because of an oil return line last year. I belieive it was probably the most expensive proto car to go up in flames. Which ever motor they decide on, the car will be lighter than the zo6 and ~600-650hp.

    It IS coming. I bet it'll be out of the bag before the end of the year.

    Some new Z06 owners say the blue devil is all a joke. They say its been tested but it will never make production. But who knows.

    Where do you get a 7% drivetrain loss? Lets see, my 03 SRT was 500 and rwhp was 443, that is 11%. My 98 GTS was 460, and 408....11% again. I would guess my 567 HP will put down 505.....11%. Can you say H-E-M-I V-10, with 650 HP. Thats what coming. Probably sooner than the Blue Devil. Ring times?? I don't plan on driving the ring.lol. But I will be on the street, and the strip, and the track at Viper racing events.
