Anyone know how to recalibrate the tire pressure? I checked the tires and the pressure was right. Now everytime I turn on the car, the "TPMS not calibrated" signal came on. I can't find any TPMS reset button in the car or on the screen display menu. Tried pushing both the disp or menu button for 5 secs but didn't work. Drove around town for 20+ kms already yet the light is still there. Any ideas?

There is a button for reclibration located above the review mirrow in ceiling beside where you turn on interior reading lights, just press and hold after your pressure is correct.

If you have issues with the TPMS not staying calibrated, the internal battery on the sensors may be getting weak. Your dealer can scan the system with the Ferrari diagnosics tool and see the battery life remaining on each sensor. We have seen that after the batteries are about 70-80% worn, they arent able to send a strong enough signal to the TPMS ECU to stay calibrated. At that point, you will need to replace the sensors. 07 MY cars that have the original sensors are probably reaching the end of there life cycle. Hope this helps.

The sensors are Huf and the same type used on Audi and Mercedes. OEM are widely available. If you have the sensors, a trusted tire shop should be able to replace all 4 for under US$100.

Then you can recalibrate via the button described in these posts. Make sure you throw the old sensors in the garbage and don't keep in trunk because the radio frequencies of the old ones will confuse the ECU unit.

To be clear, batteries cannot be replaced in old units - entirely new units must be purchased.

I've seen estimates of dealers charging $1000 to do this. It can be accomplished in total for under $250 to OEM spec.

Taz is correct. I misquoted cost. it was a few months back but I now recall I only had to replace my front 2 sensors, which is why I had it done for less. I believe I paid around $100 each sensor. All 4 should run less than US$500 installed.

    Thanks Taz,

I just ordered 4 as my sensors keep annoying the hell out of me.

Hopefully that should fix the problem....

Works well on 612. I just changed mine. I used amazon as Taz had mention. Store is Tpms warehouse. Only glitch on the huf beru is the bolts used to secure the sensors to the tire are too short and you have to use the original bolts to secure and just use the new sensors. Bottomline throw away old sensors but keep the bolts and screws ..dunno why it differs from OEM. Any decent tire shop can fix it ..I just made sure the most seasoned mechanic did it for me.

Do the Huf sensors self activate when the pressure reaches a certain level? Just bought a new set online and am about to have them mounted in my new 20" "challenge" wheels...

Oh wow, I'm glad this thread was revived. I am expecting I will have to replace my sensors next spring when I get new tires. My car will be just over 5 years old by then.

So will the Leonardo system be able to read the battery life?

My tyre shop had a machine to read them!

One thing don't expect them to recalibrate straight away after pressing the button, I had to drive around for about half an hour, then press the button and all was fixed.

I am really being tested by these sensors now!!

I picked my car from the dealer today and although they confirmed that the battery life is full, one sensor is lose therefore they will not calibrate!!!!

More pain to go through.... Clearly more pain!!

Did you shut the car off then turn the ignition, then calibrate them?

I drove the car for half an hour. Then while i was stopped at the lights with the engine still running, i pressed the button, drove for about 5-10 miles more and it had sorted itself out, by the time i stopped, and was reading the tyre pressures.

I did try pressing the button after about 10 mins. into the drive first of all, and it just said, failed almost straight away.
    Hope this helps

Correct procedure according to the OM is to turn the ignition on, but do not start. Press the Tire Pressure Calibration Button until you see "Calibration activated". Start the car and drive for a maximum of 20 minutes and the system will calibrate itself. Same procedure used for earlier Ferraris with Beru TPMS systems. Usually only takes about 10 minutes, but max could be as much as 20 minutes.
