I just purchased 08316, a 1974 246gts, yellow on black, C&F, to go along with 00464 and 04244 that I have. Hopefully will receive this weekend. The books were sent to me and although pretty complete, the operating, maintenance and service book are from 02132. Assuming the additional Instructions booklet is from the same car since the print dates are similar. The spare parts catalogue appears to be from 02768. I would love to trade someone to get the original books to my car if they're out there. Also, any history on the car would be appreciated as well. Thanks.

Those sound like those are the correct manuals. What that chassis number means it’s relevant from car #02132 and #02768.

From everything I have seen in its history, it's a legitimate C&F. Always looking for more stuff though to be sure. Thanks.

Yes. They are more of a Porsche speciality shop. The previous long term owner, who I chatted with at length today and gave me much of the cars history, traded it in on a 356 Speedster with a bit of a racing history. He is big into vintage racing and touring and over the years enjoyed the Dino in a similar fashion. Most of that was done prior to a pretty extensive body/mechanical restoration. I traded a 68 912 soft window targa in plus cash. The 912 was a really nice car and almost equally as rare.

Should have mentioned that the car spent most of its life in North Carolina and hasn't been available for years. Most of the ownership history is well documented also. Wondering if Mathias might have any info?

    Hi Tony,

My goal is to ultimately get a 206-then I'll have the trifecta. 206, 246 GT L series and 246GTS C&F's. May let my 1972 246GTS go, really nice unmolested car. Ferrari Classiche certified, I keep it in Florida and drive a little more than the rest.
