0846 and 002C arrived in Rome where it took a while to clear them as there were quite a few who wanted to snap a photo or two... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Still stickers. We'll paint them when we return. I'm really happy with the MM Nose. Best 2 U and UR's
Bloody beautiful. 002C is looking gorgeous. How are they transported from Rome to Sicily? On the road?
They're enroute in the transporter shown in the last photo. You will have to hold up your end with photo's once you arrive! Best
Glad to see they arrived safely, Jim. Look forward to seeing lots of 'evocative' photos on the route of the old 'Madonie Piccolo'. As an aside, do you remember we were discussing the interior fabric used in your P4 (in the 'My Latest....' #0854 thread) ? From your post #360 on at the bottom of page 18, and my reply in post #362 on page 19 onwards .... Well, last night I was doing some research on Norwood P4's and I stumbled across that photo where I had seen the same fabric used in a Ferrari F1 cockpit. It wasn't in a 312F167, but in fact in a '68 F1 car (similar to Todd Morici's) - belonging to John Schumann. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you Jim! Please keep us updated with many pics . I`m sure the Italian custom officer got a heavy full erection ("Madonna mio") when he saw your "luggage" Take care Cheers Wolfgang
0846 looks wonderfull as ever and 002C looks absolutely great with the new nose! have fun!! btw, will you be driving both yourself..?
Hi Sal and my son will be helping with the driving and Nino Vacarella will be there as well to help me with 0846. Ferrari is helping us by letting us stage out of the Dealership in Parlemo. I'm sure we'll be seeing many familiar faces. There are over 100 cars entered. Should be a trip and a half! Best
It wasn't touched and is a simple bolt back on but this is the nose she used at the MM and the Targa Florio and that's where she's heading. Best
wonderful... just wonderful. while it might historic, I am hoping you'll have some audio/video of the race by some tucked away cams on the car.
I make a point of thanking James for making us share the adventures of his cars that it is their restoration or like now their tour for the Historic Targa Florio. 002C is really splendid and it is in good company with #0846!! I am already impatient to discover the next photos. Bravo James and... merci Best regards
