We could try 22 out of Prairieville all the way around to Mandeville, then go north on 190 to 21 north to 41 south (unless there is a smaller road that goes along the river) which hits 59 not too far from the LA/MS border. If we wanted to get real crazy we could return on river road all the way from New Orleans. That would probably be a 5 hour road trip though, but what a start to the year.

Or we could go to Hwy 1 just over MS river bridge and head south all the way to Raceland where we'd pick up 90 West. We could take that all the way to Lafayette or just go as far as Morgan city where we could pick up 70 north which ultimately ends back into hwy 1 near Baton Rouge.

I hope we have good weather.

Or we could all meet at the Abita brew pub for lunch which ever way we want to get there. They "believe" they will be open on the 1st. Abita Springs, LA

I double checked with Abita, they are closed tomorrow.

Donny dropped me off at the storage facility to pick up my car today, it is warmed up and ready to go. I'm looking at meeting at the Tanger outlet mall. Exit 177 on hwy 10. From there we can head down a couple exits to Hwy 22 NE through the bayou and a couple small towns to Hwy 55 South. We can take that down to Airline then jump over to River road and take that back in toward Baton Rouge. If anyone from New Orleans wanted to join us at the start spot, jumping off at 55 and 10 on the way around would put you closer to home than a stopping location of Baton Rouge. I'm planning on being at the Starbucks at Tanger at 10am, leaving from there around 10:15. I am flexible on start time but many of us will probably be up a bit late tonight.

There are options on this ride for anyone to make it longer or shorter on preference. I hope everyone can make it.

The info is in this LA section under "Abita Springs Run" The OP is sending details out personally. Send him a message and he'll give you details. Looks like groups leaving from Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
