It has been a year or more since I have been able to work on this project. At this stage I have done the base coat, livery and a clear scratch coat on the 3D printed body that I developed along with a chap in the Netherlands. The chassis in the photos is only to see how the chassis will fit and to determine the location of the motor which will be pushed back towards the firewall as it was on the original car.

The base kit is a Model Factory HIRO 1962 GTO kit and will feature a scratch built interior
and modified chassis. This is a one off spec project.

Thanks...great photos. This will help a lot. I did have a dash printed that is very close to the original.

Yes...with the exception of the front fenders which ended up too flat. I had to add material and re shape them. Otherwise he did a nice job on the body shell.

I am also working on a full detail BMW M1 that he created in 3D for me based on a Clients car. Again nice work but the engineering fell short structurally [I have had to add reinforcing and remake some parts that tend to warp because they were way too thin].The material is very brittle and difficult to manage. All things considered it is coming along nicely.
