Is anyone familiar with this kit. I have it, unopened along with a transkit from Scale Details with all the photoetched parts, aluminum wheels and Marlboro livery. I am needing to scale back on some of my things, but I need to know if this is something to keep or let go. I cannot find it anywhere for sale.

Tamiya does not make an F2001 in 1/12th scale. Only in 1/20th scale. It is an excellent kit. The fit is so nice that if you put to much paint on the body before assembly, it will not fit correctly.

I have most of the 1/20th kits, and the F191 and MP4/6 in 1/12th scale (all mostly unbuilt). The kits get better each year.

If you have the 1/12..those build out nicely too. Some of the 1/12 kits are now a decade old or more.

I have only 1 1/12 scale built kit left over and it is the Nigel Mansell Williams. They are neat and display well. I would keep it. If you are going to build it or have it built, it might be worth hiring someone to do it for you..assuming you're a novice (I suck at building kits)

Maybe it's the Revell 1:12 scale F2002 kit?

I have had it for so long, I looked last night and it is the Revell. Is the kit worth putting together. I am running out of room and it is not a small model. I am also toying with the idea of selling my MR Collection, Bosica 288 GTO. I really like it but I am not sure of my skill as a builder. I have not worked with resin, or in a scale so small before. I would rather sell it than screw it up.
