Looks nice but there is no pictures of the content of the trans-kit in itself...the built model looks accurate but it is strange that it does not show all the parts...

Hmm, I'd be dubious as to buying the kit. Although I'd love a GT, I think I'd be worried about the kit not fitting right etc and then actually ruining a model that was good!

I wish there was a 6.0 diablo 1/12 on the market, Carrera GT, Murci Roadster blah blah blah

Don't worry to the scale, the kit was designed to fit any 2nd version (semi-assemble) Tamiya F50 red or yellow. I have tried this kit one the 1st version Tamiya F50, it will not fit, so if you are buying this kit and make sure you put it on the 2nd semi-assemble F50.

I am still working on this kit and hopefully the built model will get ready in 2 weeks time. So that I can take a photos on this F50 GT with my other 1/12 diecasts, i.e. Kyosho F40 yellow, Fujimi F40 red built, Maisto XJ220 & XJ220 GT, Maisto 1/12 Carrera GT & 1/12 996 Turbo, Tamiya F50 (red and yellow) 1/12, AA Murcielago R-GT, AA CLK GTR D2, HW Corvette C6 Hardtop & Convertible, PMA Mclaren, Revell 250GTOs, etc

    Michael,

    Sounds like quite a collection!!
I've got the AA orange murcielago, yellow McLaren F1, Red Enzo, Red F50, Red F40, White Viper, Silver XJ220, Green XJ220 and lastly the CLK-GTR in silver.

Just actually put my shelves up in the pool room so they are all displyed for the first time so I'll get pictures this weekend and post. Lookin forward to seeing yours too.

You mention a Maisto Carrera GT, is that the Carson one? Some models such as the Carson GT and 996 I chose not to go for due to the obvious differences in quality.

Over in HK, do you wheels that you can put on the models such as the F50, F40, Murci etc?

    Regards,

    Matthew

My family did not let me to show all cars, so I rent a little storage room ourside and display some of them in glass shelf . Other than these big scale cars, I do have around 500 1/18 diecasts (Ferrari, BMW, Lambo, Porsche, Some Kyosho Japanese cars....)

    thanks Michael,

Do you have any pictures of the Maisto GT. I would be very interested in this and would like to see the quality of the build. I cant find anything about them on the internet.

Do not expect too much of it, since it only comes with a plastic body shell, only the targa roof can be removed, wheels can turn, that's it. It do look good in a 5-ft distance. However, its quality is slightly better than the Yellow 996 Turbo.I will take some photos when I have time this coming weekend. Of coz, if it was placed behind those openable F40, F50, Enzo, it still a good picture for 1/12 diecast collection.

Well, if you are looking for a high quality Carrera GT, the AutoArt is going to release their 1/12 and 1/18 Carrera GT this year.

    Michael,

Are you just an enthusiast or seller also?

Are you aware of any other 1/12's that are coming out apart from the Autoart Carrera GT?

I will definitely be buying the AA GT as their quality is i believe the best!

    Regards,

    Matthew

I think I am an enthusiast rather than a seller, I only sell my cars when I have extra ones or no long want to keep them due to space problems, financial shortage, etc.

The kyosho is the making the 1/12 F40 with OZ rims and racing windows, 1/12 ENZO, some Lamborghini Muria? Countach?,etc.... In addition, AutoArt is going to make the Carrera GT, maybe another Murcielago 40th Anniversary Ed. , 1/12 Gallardo. That's all I know at this moment.
