Well I went in the basement and pulled out a few more. Some of the others are duplicates, just different colors, I have a 1:18 Veryon in grey/silver, 959 in silver, Mclaren F1 in red etc..... So these are the non duplicates that I was able to get to quickly. I have a 1:12 Gallardo and 1:18 Porsche 956 inbound. They should be here next week. I know, I know, my family room looks like a place a 12 year old would have designed. Hence the reason I cant find a wife. I am just a big kid, a 12 year old trapped in a 38 year olds body. :)

Thanks Christian. I enjoy the living room, I will eventually move all of the models out to my garage once I put the addition on in 2008. I should be able to turn that in to my 1:18, 1:12 and 1:1 scale show room. :) Until then I will keep adding more models to the collection.

From what I can see Tamiya has more details and is not as rough as Kyosho. Like we all already know Tamiya is too light. While the seams on Kyosho are clearly to see. It seems we need to take a compromise, "fragile, light and detailed" versus "robust, heavy and rough".

The screens on the Tamiya looks a bit blurry is because I did not take off the protective plastic sheets.

Anyhow, I like them both which is important.

    PS.
    Of all pics displayed:

    Left one is Kyosho

the difference are night and day! completly, plastic, colors, details...
i got a big deception concerning the kyosho. they must to do a second model
really the most important detail that they get it s the diecasmodel. it must
to be great to have one in metal, the weight and it s a hard model.

my notes 8.5/10 for Tamiya details colors but plastic, and 6.5/10 for kyosho
for all i explain: wheels rims/tires, and above details.

kyosho need absolutly to resolve those probleme, probably in 1 or 2 years
they will sold a new one but in complete version .

i m really desapointed too many times that we expected this model
and the results are not here.

You have a very nice collection Christian. Impressive.

I just purchased a 1:12 Saleen S7 today. It should arrive in 4-7 days. The sickness continues.

i wrote this post without watching the first pics that you posted the page before....

    kyosho:
the engine looks better than interior the details are exhaustive but not so detailed like Tamiya.

lights are ok ...the cristal also they are clear not transparante like Tamiya.
the interior details i m chocking, the seats, not belts, the color plastic,
the "anti-sun flaps" are big you can see them outside the car!!

the seats cockpit, chassis, the color of carbone ....they have all a bad aspect. and i don t want to talk about ceramic carbon...

so, the color of body car it s wonderfull it look Red (metal effect)

i keep the same notation, sorry.
shame because Kyosho did marvellous cars but that one...i am desappointed.

this is my idea about this car. i will not buy one today.

Thank you very much Volks for sharing all those pics and give me the opportunity to have an opinion.

Unfortunately it was not done by Autoart , Exoto, CRC or any of the other high detail companies. But it is 1:12 scale and I do love cars that are that size.

Mind you, Enzo is already their second model in 1 to 2 years time after the F40 (I'd bet you knew that)... I didn't check out the details of F40,cos I was to eager to find out the diferences between the KT quality... Will keep you posted with regards to F40 and Enzo.

Maybe I should have spent the money on an Enzo Nera.....after seeing yours.
Alternatively I can use the KENZO as a base for a FXX... Or take is back and exchange it for a Murci blue (?) Special Edition......
