I doubt it. Since you have to import it, it'll cost you to send back etc etc. If something does break, it'll more than likely be something relatively minor however on my 1st of 3 model, the bonnet protuded up about 3mm when meant to be closed (it just looked crap), also the rear tailgate just wobbles about all over the place (i think its just the way it is), there were other things but they were sort of fixable.

Are you sure there is no model importer for you. Have you checked Tamiyas website, I'm sure it lists importers for different countries?

Think you're besy bet if speaking to someone on this site like Michael (SLK99) who may be able to check one beforehand then sell to you. At least he knows what to look out for and can check the major things like fitting. Then anything that falls off in the post will be relatively minor.

    Regards,

    Matthew

Thanks for your reply. Is there some usual places (that breaks etc) i should look out for on the Enzo?

How is the Carrera GT 1:12 by Tamiya? Hopefully that one isnt as fragile?

    Thanks

Just thinking you have some good but relatively inexpensive contacts who may be able to check the major parts of the Tamiya Enzo before sending across to Sweden. At least that way, he knows it fits together well and any breakages or things falling off in transit can easily be fixed.

Any new pics of you know what?

    Regards,

    Matthew

With the GT, I certainly didnt have the troubles that i had with the Enzo although i would say that the Enzo looks far better. The GT is quite a long and narrow model so its proportions although most likely correct just look strange.

The price 280USD is a fair price, even with my connection, I get the same price or close....

how much did he charge for the postage?

For some reference to check whether the postage is being overcharged or not....

I have shipped a black Enzo to Denmark via EMS (3-5days) for about 52USD.

So, if you paid not more than 330USD, it is a fair deal.

The seller is making profit on the postage instead on the car....

Actually, regarding the Maclaren F1 I don't think it's a re-release. I believe MC never did a silver one. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
