No one has any news about the Ferrari F40 Competizione in 1/12 from Kyosho??
I have this model too, it's stunning. I notice they have gone up a bit in value if you have one with a mint box. Where did you get the display case and plaque from ?
Everything collectible has gone up in value. This is a nice model, but higher production than the hand builts. Same thing goes for the Tamiya F1 1/12th kits everyone seems to horde. They all get reissued!
Love it, I have the same model. This particular model is one of the BEST values in the world of collecting model cars.
Display case from Motorsport Collectible. The badge is included with the car. They have gone up in value which doesn't surprise me. I would be surprised if Tamiya reissued this model. They have done in a different direction with their product selection, focusing more on remote control cars.

Not sure. They still have Ferrari kits on their website but haven't made a new Ferrari model since the FXX-K.
Reissuing old kits is a good way to go. But man it would be nice to see a new Ferrari model from Tamiya. Maybe they will make a kit of the next super Ferrari. A 1/24 of the 499P or a 1/20 of the current F1 car would be nice. A 1/12 of the SP3 Daytona would be killer.
I see a 1/8th Hachette Lancia Fulvia HF Montecarlo 1972 might be starting up in Italy. Yes Tamiya really needs to do another 1/12th scale model.
If I had to pick one I'd go with a 1/24 499P by Tamiya. It would be a very high quality kit with their photoetched parts and sharp mouldings. Tamiya have very good detail with their LeMans/ F1/ WRC Rallye kits when they finally get around to releasing new ones.
Looks like Kyosho F40LM still in play for December release, but price is $980.00 US https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/diecastinternational/viewtopic.php?p=99511#p99511
Speaking of the 1/12th F40LM... That's alot of money for a diecast. And it does not look perfect. Kyosho 1:12 Diecast Ferrari F40 Competizione - Red • DiecastSociety.com Image Unavailable, Please Login
Both Norev 917K Hippie cars are out in 1/12th scale. They are limited to 200 each. Porsche 917K 9H Kyalami 1970 2 Siffert/Ahrens 1:12-Online exclu 200p (norev.com) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Gosh, I try to not be negative about stuff but that looks horrible to my eye. From the windshield forward particularly bad. Not at all evocative of the actual car.

There are many mistakes and flaws indeed: sits too high front fender shape is wrong front headlamp are wrong (should arrive at the edge of the fender) big screw on the rear wing looks so horrible there is a missing hole on the right side (some electric connection probably) the 2 radiators are too small (should be bigger than road version) certainly some more I don't see at first sight... But still a good base to make a good model (with some race liveries as the Pilot!)
Yes a good base with opening panels. I have 1/12th ART SPORT IMSA decals already waiting that UMI Mike Quarterman made for me years ago. About the time I get this Kyosho F40 Model Factory Hiro will announce they are doing it in 1/12th scale also!! My favorite F40 is the F40 GTE Ferrari Club of Italy 1995 FIA cars wich I did as a transkit in 1/24th scale years ago.
I recently purchased a discontinued Revell Ferrari F1-2002. Anyone have a lead on the Scale Motorsport detail set that came out around that time? They are all sold out but I’d thought I’d ask in case someone knows where to find one.
