Ebay, but it might take a while to get a set at a reasonable price.

Incredible that manufacturers still make such errors on this scale. With today's technology and at this price, the result should be perfect.

The ancient Bburago model has a better shape than this one.

It's honestly a bit of a shocker that they haven't done it before now. It took years of asking before he did the 333 SP and I would have guessed that there were more requests for the F40 LM.

I have the Norev 917K AAR Martini 1970 Kyalami and it is very good for a diecast. The Martini decal on the nose is slightly small and they don't have the windshield bishops hat (British saying), but that was added just before the race. Also they use white on the tire rings no matter if it is Good Year or Firestone. These should be yellow/gold.

Found this shot from the rear. The rearend is black, not yellow like on the Norev model FYI. I confirmed from another photo it is black, not tire dirt. Also tape on the drivers side door window can be seen, missing from the model along with the bishops hat. Getting fussy, the Firestone sticker lettering is black not red and they are missing a sticker behind the cockpit, one side a Firestone and the driver side driver names. :)

Research, research, research...or lack thereof when it comes to 99% of all model manufacturers. Pretty much none of them would know what a historically accurate model is, even if it came up and bit them on the ass!

The P4 is a spider, the Daytona winner and Targa car, #0846. The SWB is a reissue.

I like Top Marques and am tempted by a number of models that they offer BUT members should be aware that the web sites of Top Marques and their parent company are currently down, emails to their customer service address bounce and there are MANY reports across social media of people paying for pre-orders and never receiving them. Some stories regarding pre-orders from 2 or more years ago that have never appeared. Some more recent but still far enough back that a Paypal dispute is no longer possible. I'd be very cautious about placing an order even if you still can.

I agree proceed with caution if attempting to deal directly with Top Marques directly. I also thought I was the only one having trouble accessing their website. Being off line for this long and emails bouncing back, etc. is a pretty bad sign. I have two of their 1:12th Ferrari models, and am overall happy with them. For anything now I would only buy from a dealer, not directly from Top Marques.

A little side info. I did business with them as a dealer when they first started with the 1:12 Dino 246 models several years ago, and they wanted me to become a US distributor, or at least a regular dealer. But I told them "no," as well as some other things. The "other things" got them pretty hot under the collar. Based all of my replies on too many quality problems with most of the Dino's I received, how they were not properly taking care of me with all - very poor customer service, and then looking at some of their other models with many accuracy issues. By the way, the principal, or one of them at Top Marques is/was Peter Ross who used to own/run/produce Red Line Models back in the 1990s - early 2000s. And last bit... There was a well known model firm in England that started back in the 1980s making superb hand built 1:43 models, of classic British cars, RR, Bentley, etc. Their name was... Top Marques, owned & operated by Max & Julie Kernick. They had NO association with the Orient based firm we are discussing. Unfortunately, Max & Julie did not protect their brand name, and Ross took it. All part of the unpleasant side of the model car business. I've had similar problems with Chinese based companies trying to use and register my CMA Models brand name in China.

Yes I did come across the name Peter Ross on a Dutch company register along with the name and email address for an Andreas Muller of LS Collectibles in Hong Kong. The parent company of Top Marques is European Collectible Distribution B.V.

I would have loved to have the 1/12 MC20 Spider in red but as far as I can tell it's sold out. I never knew about this release until I read that post.

So the Top Marques Ferrari 500 Superfast 1/12th model is out, but they made them all right hand drive. They made 37 Superfast 500's of wich maybe six were right hand drive.

Cheap way out taken by Top Marques, phototech or printed windshield and side window trims are a deal breaker for me.
