And it has the correct 13 inch wheels. The last 1/12th T33 Stradale from another brand had over sized wheels.

Well, except that the post I was replying to was about the Looksmart.

Yeah sorry about that. I thought it was the same model and couldn't find a way to delete the post at the time. Hope you get the LS.

So basically, twice as much as everybody else for a sealed model other than Tecnomodel who are also expensive. I would still buy a SP1 or SP2 if they did it. I still can't believe they cancelled the 1954 Phill Hill Pan Am car in 1/12th after advertising it for 5 years!! Not the same company they used to be for sure.

This 1/12th Maserati 420 from the 1958 Monza race looks nice but a little off in the shape of the nose, and the rear wheels are to big.

Well.... I was almost ready to buy one, but after looking at all of the color versions, I could see they all share one common serious flaw... the sills are horrible. Especially noticeable when looking at profile/side views. Very disappointed. The wipers are not so good either, but can be dealt with. There are probably other flaws, but no point to look any further after seeing the sills. So the 1:18 scale AutoArt Miura is still the overall best.

Not sure I will buy it. I am already mostly done with my conversion. I printed correct LM wheels and Good Year racing slicks and modified the body myself. Also made 1/12th ART Sports IMSA decals for the Road America car. I started with the Kyosho road car. I can see a lot of things they did wrong like the fuel door from the street car

I agree with you there is a lot of work to improve it. But that was already the case with the Stradale, where I ended up cutting the front chassis with a grinder to be able to lower the front hood ! I will post pictures. I hope you’ll show us pics of your conversion ! ;)

I am almost certain that is not the 1/12th 250LM. It looks more 1/18th to me. So, no shots ready yet. I think you are right; they will mess it up somehow like they did the 250GTO.

Certainly could be… and still a very flawed model. I would really like a GOOD ACCURATE ready built model of the Le Mans winning 250 LM, but still nothing has been made in 1:18 or 1:12 yet. Amalgam are also bad in both their 1:18 and big 1:8 models of this car. CMC is supposed to be making one in 1:18 scale, and so is Martisan…. We’ll see if any of them get it right, but I still really want it in 1:12.

In my modest opinion, the Looksmart version is the best out there. I know it does not meet your high standards, but i think for the price it was a very resonable model. (and probably the only one that got the nose right! or close to it)

I believe these and very many others are all made in Vietnam. The factory offers the Ferrari Hydroplane in a few different scales, from modest to huge! I used to import & sell various Hydroplane racing boat models - dealt directly with he factory over there.
