    I'm looking for a R/C vintage Tamiya.
I wonder if they are still available NIB (New In Box) and for how much?

Also how much is a Pocher 1/8 F40 NIB nowadays?
I still have it since 1995 right after I got my Master's degree. It turned out i never had the time to even start building one. I'm not sure whether to sell it or not and I don't want to put it on Ebay because I don't think anyone will trust seller from Indonesia.

    There's an 1/8 F40 on E-bay right now.

    A red Pocher F-40 is about $500-600.

Finding an RC Tamiya LP500 is tough. I remember buying, building, and progressivly destroying one in my youth....
It was cool with all the stripes on it.

There is a disply 1:12 scale LP500 readily available.

All I can find is a build model, not NIB.

Kind of OT, Anyone have an RC "restored?" I have a clodbuster that I built when I was younger, and trashed when I was younger, that I would love to have re-done.

I have a bunch of them, a Super Champ in mint condition, a Rough Rider in decent condition which is on its way to being nicely redone, a Frog which is only missing the body, the Toyota 4x4 with the 3 speed transmission, and a few others. You can find a lot of spares on eBay. I used to race those religiously until the Associated RC-10 came out and waxed all the Tamiya cars.

Testors & Doyusha both issued the 1:12 LP 500 kit. Same mold I'm 99% certain.

Doyusha also put out an LP 400 kit- this is a bit harder to find. I imagine the LP 500 simply added the flares to the LP 400 kit.

Anyways- they can build into a nice looking display with some care.

Mine are mostly gone already. I started with Tamiya Audi quattro, Lancia 037, Porsche 956, etc. The ones that I still have in mint condition (and loads$$ of hop-up options) are the ones from 1993 such as the M3 Sport Evo, 190E 2.5-16 EvoII, Alfa Romeo 156, AMG C-class, etc. I still have 6 unpainted polycarb bodies.

It's nice if I have time to finish them all again.

I had a ClodBuster, too! My dad and I built it together - it was fun. IIRC, they are still being sold, as I remember seeing one not too long ago in a hobby shop. Unfortunately, parts won't be available in anywhere near the quantities that parts are for the newer, nitro-powered trucks such as the T-Maxx and HPI's newest addition to the market.
