    Hey all,

Are these 2 Revell kits worth buying? I'm seeing them on eBay for around £40ish. I'm not sure how detailed these kits are and if they are any transkits or photoetched parts for them. Is there anyone who has either of these models and can post some detailed pics up?

    Thanks,

    -Ham

I have built the F40 in 1/12 scale by revell. I thought that the overall kit went together well and the end result was pritty good. Although it turned out ok having made a number of mods, one in particular the wheels that came with the kit, which were sh*te, I wouldnt be buying such a car in that scale or company again. I think I will stick to 1/24 scale Tamiya kits.. I will post pics of the F40 tomorrow.

    Jaz.

Any pics would be really helpfull Jaz. I'm really interested to see the level of detail on the model.

    Cheers,

Just thought I'd add that the Revell F40 is rubbish. I only bought it to use the front end in a conversion of the Kyosho 1/12 F40 that I am turning into an LM. The polystyrene is much easier to model than the metal!

    Will post pics asap.

Revell made these 2 kits garbage-like... it is not worth for purchasing.
