    Hi All,

I am thinking about getting the (Tamiya FERRARI GTO 1:12) and the (Autoart LAMBORGHINI MURCIELAGO ROADSTER 1:12) brand new in box. How much do you think would be consider a good deal for each? US300-US400 including shipping??

I am shopping around for these two models and seeing from US450 to US600 including shipping. Is that too high? or just about right?

    Thanks!!!

Several of us got the 288 GTO on pre-order for ~$450. If you can find it for that price you'll be doing pretty well. Can't speak for the Murcielago - I stay away from the tractor scene ;)

i want to use only Fcars in the display, if i heard myself, i will buy another GTO, only to have red/black seats...

i think you can gets them around 670/720E shipment included. Do it step by step, starting by the GTO (mine for 280+53€ ship. around 215$ but not in pre order).
The lambo haven t the same sells, i mean, in one year the price will be the same...there s no discount by AA. the great deal is second hand.

Michael showed us pictures of his Murcie Roadster, one of my favourite cars. Personally i think it looked great but maybe not in yellow. i would wait to see what else they release it in, Metallic gold/orange and Black i think.

I would buy the Roadster over the 288 but thats just because i'm dangerously obsessed by them! :D

I am a lambo man through and through but I'm gonna have to take the plung on the 288GTO - it looks amazing and will go prfectly with my 1/12 250GTO, F40, F40 Lightweight, F50 and Enzo. The Murci Roadster will look great with the 1/12 Gallardo and regular Murci. Can't wait for the 1/12 Kyosho Countach LP500 in white either! Still would like a Diablo SE30 like yours Matt but can't stretch to that.

I know, the Countach will be pretty cool. The Diablo does make the collection for me, the colour and the fact it oozes pure sex is just unbeatable by any model (in my opinion).

I was over at Lambo a couple of weeks ago, I posted some pictures and information in the Lambo section. The tour around the production line was the best part i think but no photos allowed unfortunately. There were some very very nice Diablos in the museum, last off the production line, GT's, gold 6.0, GTR's etc. Absolutely awesome. I just sold my Cobra and am that step closer to taking the plunge with the VT, will be purchasing 6.0 alloys for it should they fit correctly, i know they fit, just dont know if they sit 100% correct. There is a red one in the Lambo section I've seen a few times, looks great, just that red isnt my colour.

Here is a white Countach i was in about 4 months ago, very strange feeling being in one of them.

Anyway, just to complete the off-topic of the SE30, have this! :D

Oh and i see the AC Cobra is out in blue road car now.

WOW! I'm planning to take a trip to Lambo next year. What the hell was the red Diablo thing? Looks like the 'Canto' (the scrapped Diablo replacement). If it is then thank God they went back to the drawing board and gave us the Murci. Who's Countach? Looks gorgeous.

You should you would love it.

regarding the Diablo, i quote this from another thread in the Lambo section:

"As far as the L147 or what eventually became the Murcielago, there were many proposals.
The Canto design by the great Nori Harada of the Zagato studio was the one that Lamborghini
picked as the winner (this is before VW/Audi bought Lambo). But before the Canto was selected
as the winner, there were many proposals. One of those competing proposals was that off-red
colored car which was proposal by Gandini, which may be why they have it in the museum next
    to Gandini's Diablo prototype.

That Gandini L147 design is not a Canto."

The Countach belongs to a friend of mine, better outside of it than inside. Just amazing to look at!
