    I'd love to add to my collection of 1:18-scale Ferraris the 250 California. The trouble is, the Mattel/HotWheels model only comes in maroon (blah). I saw a Tonka/Polistil version in red, but from what I've heard (and seen by my F40), the Tonka models tend to be too large (closer to 1:16 scale).

    Any suggestions that would fall within reason?

    Mattel have announced some new colors for 250 Ferraris. These are part of their "showcase" line. I'm not sure whether this includes more detail or just a display case and higher price tag.

    GTO, yellow, due in May
    Lusso, silver, due in June
    California Spider, silver blue metallic, due in August

    Those look very nice. But the last time I sent an email to Cavalinno Models, I got no response.
    How much would one of the above models go for?
