Just wondering if a plastic model, Tamiya, Revel etc... was ever produced. Doesn't matter which 308 model, preferably a carbed one.

Or maybe someone knows of a resin kit or parts upgrade kits.

    Cheers

I'm not expert but I am a model builder. I have never come across one. I only know of the die cast ones I saw when I was a kid. If you want to build or detail one, you can probably take it apart and repaint everything. I know a lot of guys do that.

The Revell kit was 1/24th or 1/25th scale, not 1/18th. I don't think anyone has made a 308 kit in 1/18th scale.

Nope, 1/24. as far as I know no one has made a 1/18th kit.

    Thanks.

I bought the Elvis 1:18 Mattel GT4. I was not impressed with the engine bay. I thought I would do some kit bashing and upgrade it.

Guess ill be doing some scratch building now.

    I have over 50 Ferrari 1:18 diecast models and I don't think I have a 308, just a 328. I will confirm though.

OMG! I just noticed this was my post # 1,000. I have never posted this much on the internet before!

The proportions are all wrong on that Testors one, I have almost all 308s in plastic kit form, none are really good, the Revell Magnum 1/25th isn't the worst, but the Hasagawa 1/24 is the best, only problem is that it's a 328! On Automotive Forums, under models, a guy made a more accurate 308 from the Hasagawa and various other kits, but he did it as a race car, still I am thinking about following his lead only as a factory correct 308. Only 1/18th is the diecast from, oh crap, I forget, but it's not bad, I only do plastic though, and not 1/18th, so not much help, I sure do wish an all new 308GTB will be produced for us, in kit form.

I don't do kit or diecast cars, I do armour, planes and scifi.. I bought this to go along with my 1:1 GT4.

But like I said when I saw the quality I was dismayed. It's good for a toy but not a model. So I'm putting my modeling skills together and going to fix this thing. I'll post when done, but will be in the winter, have to drive the real thing for now :)

I have a 1/18 Diecast one. I think its the Hot Wheels 308 GTS though.

I also have a Magnum PI one that I started to put together twenty odd years ago but never finished. Just a couple months ago an accident happened and the body got crushed and cracked. I havent tried to do anything else with it yet, but will probably end up throwing it out I guess...
