    Hello all, I don't know if one has been made but I have been trying to find a 1/18 BB512 (year model 79 or atleast around there) in red. I can find them in 1/43 all day long but I don't want that. If anyone knows of where I could find one of these please let me know. I know I'm being picky about year, color, etc but it holds a sort of sentimental value. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

    The best example was made by Kyosho... choice of red or yellow. I dont think its still in production, but Im sure you can score one on ebay if no one here comes thru.

    You won't "trip over them" on ebay, but they do appear with decent regularity... usually go in the mid $80 range...

    +1 - I just got a yellow one last month and the guy had a red one for sale also--Keep your eye on Ebay

    If you want a cheaper one than the kyosho so there's also an model realised by "twin chrono" out here!

    I've got a black chrono... They're harder to find than the Kyosho anymore. It's not a very good model, IMO - I'd much rather have the Kyosho.

    Yeah I have seen the yellow one on ebay I was going to buy it but I'm looking for red. Thanks for the info, and like I said, I'll keep an eye out on ebay.

    I know that there is a red 512BB (by Burago) in the stall space next to my wife's space at the antique mall, but I think it's a 1/24 scale. Seems to me they want about $10 for it (no box, as far as I know, and not in mint condition). Are these common?
