Fantastic work, well done!
Stunning work on those last two. I'm especially fond of the GTO. I must admit that your pictures in the opening post are always in the back of my mind. Makes me want to sell all my models in other scales and just have 1:18s in matching BBR cases. They look fantastic.

BBR 1:18 Ferrari 250 GTO Spider Rebuild of a damaged model from BBR. Officially a 250 GTO Spider do not excist, but there are a few based on a chassis from a 250 GT/E. One famous example (s/n 3919) was the Spider from Frank Beard (ZZ Top) I chopped the roof, made a new trunk and upholstered the entire interior with self-adhesive leather from MFH. John, your '61 le Mans-winning car almost brings tears to my eyes. That le Mans is the only 24 Hours that I actually attended with my then-fiancee. I was living in Paris, studying droit compare on a Fulbright Fellowship and drove with her to le Mans for the race. Wildly exciting that American Phil Hill, partnering with Belgian Olivier Gendebien won the race in 'your' 250 TRI. Memories.
Thank you for sharing your memories, it was certainly a beautiful decade to remember, especially the first half of the sixties for Ferrari!
..........a beautiful decade indeed and a breath-taking fiancee, if I may say: Image Unavailable, Please Login

Matrix makes great Ferrari models. I was tempted by this model, but I already have the series one spider by Matrix.

I love my CMC 275 GTB/C almost as much as my CMC 250 GTO. They are not always perfect CMC, but I do have a soft spot for them over BBR.
