Anyone picked up one of these new "Elite" 1/18 F1 Hotwheels editions? I understood that they were shipping soon. Also, there's an Elite version of Kimi's F2007 in the new candy apple red. Speedgear has them shown in their catalog, but I'm really wondering what the "elite" stands for with reference to F1 models, since all the Hotwheels leave much to be desired. All I can gather is that they'll be without driver.

    Here's a pic of the Elite F2001:

Mike I might get the F2000 but that's it. Can't justify
buying them all since I already have all the Schumachers
Ferrari F1's from GP Legends on the championship bases.
If they really had alot of detail compared to the regular
ones, maybe. But judging from the Elite versions of the road
cars, not a huge difference.By the way how are the kids & wife?

IMO they don't look that great, and since they can't do the tobacco branding it's even more of a detractor especially on the earlier ones where it was still allowed on the whole race calendar.

Could one of you post a pic of the box those came in?
I was not aware that the Elite F1's were even out yet?
