I got an email from AA about the Diablo 6.0, saying its available now in North America and I went over to check out the CCX...

I noticed the Silver one has regular doors on it and the orange one has the hydro-whatever doors on it...is this how the silver one is going to be put in production?

You sure the doors on the silver one dont pop out and then can be flicked up like the orange one? I do see the difference from the pictures but its a bit strange if so.

By the way, the 6.0, it seems to be a flat orange for some reason? :(

I raised that concern at diecastcentral.co.uk.
One of the members there said he spoke with AA about that.
Turns out the photographer must have been lazy, as the doors apparently pull out and then spin up. Not quite how they work on the real car as the real car does both motions in one.
Not the best, but considering these are extremely complex doors, i think they did a good job with it.

oh thanks for the clarification, the silver one (in pictures) looks a lot nicer than the orange one to me, but if it had regular doors then I would have gone with the orange for sure...

theres suppose to be a black one available too (it was brought up in the 6.0 thread) but theres one on ebay right now, the same guy selling the orange and yellow ones saying he'll get it in 2 weeks...

I'd really like to see gold though!

I just hope the door spring is stong enough to keep the doors up.
