yes i was comparing it withn the profil 24 model wich i assume should be correct and that rear flap is completly wrong...maybe they used it in some other race but not Lm....i will try to contact Tecnomodel to see if they are willing to fix it...but i doubt it :(

They are cranking these things out like sausages, and unfortunately the overall detailing and accuracy is about the same as a pack of sausages. Maybe that's a bit harsh, but I'm tired of so many middle of the road models, with no real effort to make them very accurate, etc.

I guess this is ok if you're collecting at a fast pace, and looking to fill as many gaps as possible, but I prefer collecting quality, not quantity.

LOLO, always a pleasure to hear you coments Marshal :)
Your right of course..if we buy them more slowly it will be easyer on our wallet and wi'll probably have the time to choose better ones!!
This model has a funny story as i think you know....a couple of months ago, Autobarn bought a batch of 312ps and 250ps from a chinese factory..they were just siting there, aparently waiting for the company that ordered them to pay for them!!! They didn't so Autobarn bought the lot, made a new package and sold them!! Now Tecnomodel is releasing those same models...so i guess we know who ordered the first ones!!
However, they are very, very similar but with some improvements, in the 312p case i see the windshield whippers changed position and are more acurate this time....too bad the rear spoiler is still wrong....

I'd buy one, but I already have two CMCs. If they make the Spyder version I'll buy one of those. They are making an effort to be more accurate. As an example these are more accurate than the Autobarn versions.

    Well what do you know...

Looksmart New Ferrari 288 GTO Evoluzione ? Diecastsociety.com

I'm a bit disappointed. The ride height looks terrible. I've modified it in the second picture.

    Hi,

While we are on the subject of Looksmart, anybody have any updates on the 1:18 Shah of Iran Miura SVJ they have in the works. The website says that it is "under development".

    Any news would be welcome.

    Regards,

    Ramin

On Ebay they're more like 70-80 euro. Still, for 150 I would buy that 365.

I have one of each. The Berlinetta is more desirable if you collect Le Mans only. I collect World Sportscar Championship and of the races Ferrari ran in 1969, the Spyder ran at all the races except Le Mans, including Monza.

Tecnomodel prefers to make Le Mans cars, like most of the manufacturers, so I don't know if they'll make a Spyder. However, if you've made the Berlinetta, you have 3/4s of the Spyder. And there are several versions.

I bought a 512m from Rare Model, because unless Looksmart makes it, it's going to be a long wait. Looksmart made a 1/43 version, which sometimes means they'll make one in 1/18. But, it's not on their future releases page, so it will be a while, if at all.

Just received an email from BBR in regards to their 1/18 250P.... it was just a matter of time before they made their own version of the 250P Ferrari... I think I'll get the #21 version instead... :)
