Looks like the dash panel gauges are just decals-that makes it a 'pass' for me.
I was still sleeping...Gt spirit of course..so it should be below 100 i guess! Looks very nice..i like my Kyosho..but the whipers are a disaster...
Tecnomodel keeps coming out with very interesting subjects, but the overall detailing is always weak, and some of the body shapes and other bits are often wrong. Adding to that, their prices while not very expensive, are certainly higher than some other companies that seem to deliver more for either less money or the same prices. The only real plus is that with some of the Tecnomode editions (NOT all) they do limit them quite a lot, which might at least help sustain values down the road. I just got one of their Aston Martin DB2 models. It's nice, and rates as an ok model, but definitely not a great model, and appears to be overpriced for what you get. I wish that Tecnomodel would spend some more time on making their models correct and better detailed. If they did I would probably buy some more of them.
agree..they release to many models and spent litle time to make them perfect....they should do less but better...for example i will pass on theirs 250p because i'm +pretty sure the bbr or Ls version will be better for the same price..
I didn't know they were making this car. It's a shame that they didn't do an actual period racing car livery. David Prophet's car was the only one raced back then, but would make a good model, green with gold trim. http://imageshack.com/a/img923/4124/GefvA3.jpg
Nice... I hope BBR fixed the front headlights before releasing the model.... When they announced their version of the F40, they show a square type on their website which actually they should be round shape. It appears the white sample shown might have the round lights but for sure can't tell on the red one..... Overall looks great! Years ago I purchased the MG Model F40LM so I'm not sure if I'm going to buy this one or not...
I'll probably wait for the Ls version..because it will be a lot cheaper and they will have race livery wich is the one i want...The IGOL version..
The red F40 is the early type LM, with this one, Alesi raced on Laguna Sega in '89. It only needs a red rear wing. (and maybe some wheel discs)
No Peter, headlights are good, look at the air intake in the front of hood. Only the "Alesi" F40 had this kind of air intake. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I don't know for sure. Did he raced in the same race with wheeldiscs? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Maybe one picture of practice and the other of the race. In 1989 it only raced at Laguna Seca and by the time it was raced again in August 1990 it had the more familiar nose.

If my memory serves me correctly did BBR produced 1:18 F430 Scud back around 2006 time frame? So are they releasing it again? Also I was hoping that BBR was at some point produce a 16M so I'm excited to see it soon.

Pedro, that is also one of my favorite's. Too bad it wasn't a successful racer. Looks good, but I have not compared with any photos of the real one. Lately almost all of my model purchases have been non-Ferrari. I had been considering the BBR 250 TdF, but it just doesn't look quite right to me, and I also do not like any of the color choices so far. That said, I know that they will over produce and offer many too many more colors, all for too much money.
