I'll be curious to see how the BBR compares to the LookSmart. LookSmart product is cheaper but their record on actually delivering product is kind of spotty.

1+. I agree... I too would like to see the side-by-side comparison of both models to determine the accuracy and overall quality.

These look fine to me, glad I ordered them through my local shop. IIRC the BBR GTO has black seats? This has the red inserts. I like those better. Also the wheels and tires seem to fit a little better compared to the BBR.

Edit: yep, for me the Looksmart is the better choice. I also like it that the wheels are not so shiny.

Hi!Are you sure of the blue color of the seat inside?
    In my pics seem grey....?
The blue circle on tyres seems too big and the "GOODYEAR" also..
    Do you agree?
    All the best,
    Alessandro

First of all it's very difficult to make comparisons from photos unless there are really obvious errors in shape or detail. I have the Fujimi version and I think it is slightly better. For instance there are two vents behind the side window and above the rear wheel. In the Tecnomodel versions they are depressions painted red. In the Fujimi version they go much deeper and there is a black insert so they appear to go to the interior. It's very ingenious.

That isn't to say the Tecnomodel is bad. If there wasn't a Fujimi version or a Looksmart coming, I would buy one. But I think the Fujimi is better than Spark's products and probably the best resin racing car I have. I wish that Fujimi had continued with Ferrari models in 1/18.

Sorry for my delayed reply Alessandro. Yes I agree with you. You are correct; the seats did actually have grey centers, not blue, and certainly not black. I was in the midst of researching two other Ferrari's when I too hastily wrote about the seat colors of this 250 LM.

Thanks for the picture Philip, indeed the Fujimi version seems to have a litle more detail to it, wich is not surprising, since Tecnomodel's , although normaly acurate in shape (if we discount the alfa t33) lack in detail....

Looksmart just relkeased the sf-15 with Sen on the wheel...retail is about 240€, so it's 200€ less then a BBR :()!!! and it comes with a display case included!!!
Ps: maybe not as good as the BBr, not sure, but a much better bang for the buck!!!

Should we expect it to be the same as the MR 16M? I hope so. Many of the MR versions were selling for a very high price. Would be nice to be able to get one for the LookSmart price. I think I sold my MR version before they became valuable..

As an aside, it looks to me like the 1/18 market has really taken the steam out of the 1/43 market.

Agree on the thickness of the rollbar... Pre-production samples? Be nice if they fixed it before they release it.

new TR , dino and Laf from Kyosho...aparently these have a diecast chassis and a resin body...is it me or do they seem a bit "plastic"? the Laf better be a prototype because those headlamps look like crap!!
