What's going on, sure hope this won't be another dead horse like the 512s!!! I passed the oportunity of buying a R.A.R.E 512m Sunoco for a very decent price because i would prefer this one..sure hope i won't regreat it!!

Outside looks OK, but interior is terrible. https://diecastsociety.com/first-look-cmr-ferrari-250-gt-berlinetta-competizione-1956/
Yes, typical CMR, still a great subject, too bad the poor quality...but of course CMr is suposed to be teh cheap resin model
Still, it fits perfectly in the 250 GT line. At the CMR price this is a no brainer for me. The silver one has more outside detail BTW.
If they do a race version (wich they might) perhaps i will get one ps: i wish they would get ride of those crappy windshields!
Windshields look fine to me. You mean the wipers? Even with some aftermarket detailing it will still be a lot cheaper and look just as good as pricier models.
hello guys, what do you think about this new amalgam 1/18 tr58? https://www.amalgamcollection.com/collections/1-18-scale/products/ferrari-250tr-1-18 Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've seen this model in person..... It looks very nice, but.... it is not completely correct for how it (0728) was at Le Mans 1958. Seats are wrong, and I'm almost certain that wheels were painted silver, not blue. There are probably some interior issues too, but I have not bothered to check. Despite what some mindless dealers may say....these are not limited edition pieces. It is an open ended run. The price is too high for an open ended production run, especially one made in China, and with mistakes.
The wheels are the correct color (green front and blue rear)although maybe the wrong shade but the seat is wrong. Also the rear looks a little off on the lower section. Here is the Mini Delta 1/8th model wich is correct along with a rear shot of the Amalgam. there ´s another mistake, the rear left knock off is the one from the right side, hope this will be corrected for the production run.
Looks very nice, but i think the price is to high..i know my "bluemoon" by BBr is not perfect either, but at least it was half the price!!! and looks also very nice, i don't think this amalgam is worth the double....and yes, the seats look horrible...
Thanks Tom; I thought you would have the answer on the wheels! Amalgam definitely got the shade of blue wrong, and they also used that on all four wheels instead of green front and blue rear as you pointed out. Like I said, I had not really bothered to check on much with this one. The rear body does look like it has a problem as well, and the exhaust pipes are also misaligned.
So today I went to my local scale model vendor to pick up the 312 T3 by Looksmart. He also had this model present. The model looks very nice in real life. Seems like a good quality fit and finish and the details are nicely done as well. Tires are fine, the pictures don't do the model justice. The only thing left is the Cavallino Rampante decal but that shouldn't be too much of a problem to correct, so I bought it anyway. Also included separately are the three Marlboro decals with the Berger name. One other thing: it looks slightly larger than 1:18, but not much. I measured the wheelbase and it is indeed a little too large, but I compared it with the Exoto 641 and the Minichamps F93A. The size difference is acceptable. Only thing that stands out is that the tires are wider than on those two other models. I don't know if that's accurate.
