+1 Agreed! I'm hoping the images shown is a "pre-production" model and not the final release... LookSmart did a great job on detail and quality on their previous Ferrari releases... so why does this model look cheap?
I got the BBR Villeneuve 126C2 at a very good price and was also quite disappointed in the detail. The best part about the model was presentation box and plinth it comes in. This MR looks even worst and considering some of their other creations that have already hit the market, I would not be surprised if what you see is exactly what you get.
I also have the BBR 126C2, and though not as detailed as I had hoped it looks 100% better than the LS 126CK, which overly thick suspension pieces and think body parting lines/assembly.
So is Looksmart....with a lot more race versions....since i wan't one i would like to ask wich one would you guys feel is more important/interesting....the one from Imsa (that Ferrari as in the museum (red with black headlights,or the igol ones from le mans, wich ireally like? http://www.looksmartmodels.com/product/ferrari-f40-0123-1995/ http://www.looksmartmodels.com/product/ferrari-f40-24h-le-mans-1996-igol-44/
A couple of weeks ago I received the Looksmart 250 LM and the 288 GTO. I didn't have the time to take pictures because we moved to another house and almost all of my models are still in boxes as it's a temporary home. However I did manage to find the 288 GTO Overall quality I think is fine. Maybe not the same feel as a BBR. The only quality issue I found is that the two right lights in the front are a bit skewed, but that should be an easy fix. The stance is nice as are the wheels. A nice detail is the engine deck, which has real louvres through which you can see some engine detail. The shape is pretty good, allthough I think the front fenders might be a little too pointy towards the nose. It shows in the pictures, but in real life it's not that noticeable. Looking forward to add the GTO Evoluzione and F40LM by Looksmart! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

And..... they are also making the Europa in white with green roof. Interesting to note that the inside packaging is identical to Tecnomodels, even the little sticker on the base that shows the serial number of the piece is the same size style and location.
Well Pedro, That answers the question of why they look so much like a Tecnomodel's piece. I agree about the "flat" photo etch window frames, and it does look a bit simple overall.
Also new fromTecnomodel...this guys are on a rol... TECNOMODEL TM18-19B Scale 1/18 | FERRARI 365P GIANNI AGNELLI CAR 1968 WITH REAR FLAP SILVER TECNOMODEL TM18-19A Scale 1/18 | FERRARI 365P GIANNI AGNELLI CAR 1968 WITH REAR FLAP RED TECNOMODEL TM18-19C Scale 1/18 | FERRARI 365P GIANNI AGNELLI CAR 1968 WHITE
I think so,both versions are real....not sure about the colours though..i believe the white with no flap is the real.
