1/18 news

If they can nail down the accuracy, I think these models could raise the bar in the 1/18 model world (not including the custom builds out there..). I have preordered the #25 4153GT version and am really looking forward to it.

 

Just scoped the site.
Yet, this model is fantastic, is the body removable?
If not, so many details are lost. Shift to see the pistons go up and down, why?
And how many times?

It is new standard in 1:18.

Not sure about body shape in some areas. Would be great IF they would say which car they used for reference to make their model from - as in which car is this supposed to replicate? Like CMC, they will try to get as many versions as they can from one set of generic tooling. Seats appear to be wrong, the color of the interior metal panels is wrong... Fuel lies are poorly done, and the toy-like windshield wipes are terrible. For all the claims and the pricing, I would expect better accuracy.

 

The steering wheel guilloche is awful

I have that one as well, hopefully the GTS will not have the top. I don’t like the top either.
