    I'm not a serious collector by any means, more of a "if I see it and like it I'll get it" kind of guy. That being said, I'm very interested in obtaining a 1/18th or similar size 16M. What would you guys recommend in terms of brand to look at for this? I don't need a perfect recreation but would like a high quality version.

    It exists at this moment only in the form of a transkit for the Hot Wheels 1/18 F430 spider. The transkit requires completely stripping the model and molding in new resin body parts. Some fair amount of skill is required.
    If you wait I am sure that BBR will offer it as a finished model but be prepared to pay a lot for it. Hot Wheels is the only other game in town due to licensing and I doubt that they have any plans to do it.

    I would guess we will be seeing a 1:18 16M from Hotwheels... they did the Scuderia, no reason to think they won't do the 16M.

    Thanks for the info guys. Yeah, going to have to wait until someone comes with a complete model because if I tried to modify an existing model it would probably end up in the "crappy replicas" thread!
