    Surpringly, nobody on this forum has yet mentionned the new Aston DB2 in 1/24th scale offered recently on Ebay by Manuel Hermosillo of Mexico. Altough I did not buy one because I am waiting after the next version Manuel will make of it (more on this in a moment), it seems to be a very worthy effort from Manuel and will built into an interesting curbside model.

    Here are two photos of the kit and the built model :

    According to Manuel, per suggestion of a customer he will make 2 modifications to subsequent batches:

    1) The rear bumper will be built in
    2) The grille shape will be modified; the central section's edges will be parallel instead of slighly tapered as they are now.

    I will definitely buy one from the subsequent batch.

    A model-worthy but esoteric subject. I purchased one on ebay and am anxiously awaiting its arrival.

    Looks nice. I like the fact that people are still doing rare old car kits.........It is so much more interesting than them doing a bunch of modern Astons or Ferrari's like everybody else.

    I like it, too. But it's a very small market and I suspect he wouldn't be producing very many or for long; that's why I got it.
